WWF & TIGER CONSERVATION

Tiger Conservation in India, Eastern Russia & Southeast Asia through the World Wildlife Fund

Since the start of Avila Reizen, we have made donations to the World Wildlife Fund. Our last donation (2024) was made through the Avila Foundation for tiger conservation in India, Eastern Russia, and Southeast Asia. Tigers are critically endangered in these areas; approximately 5% of their original habitat remains available for them to forage.

This project aims to protect tigers from poachers by encouraging governments to establish national parks and tiger reserves where tigers can roam freely without conflicting with urban areas. The training of park managers and providing advice on the management of protected areas are also part of this project. More information can be found at:
