Since the start of Avila Reizen, we have made donations to the World Wildlife Fund. Our last donation (2024) was made through the Avila Foundation for tiger conservation in India, Eastern Russia, and Southeast Asia. Tigers are critically endangered in these areas; approximately 5% of their original habitat remains available for them to forage.
This project aims to protect tigers from poachers by encouraging governments to establish national parks and tiger reserves where tigers can roam freely without conflicting with urban areas. The training of park managers and providing advice on the management of protected areas are also part of this project. More information can be found at:
Traveling allows you to discover the world, its natural beauty and rich cultural heritage. With the Avila Foundation, we aim to create a better world by improving the living conditions of socially and economically disadvantaged children and local communities in developing countries. We also contribute to projects that focus on nature conservation and improving the living conditions of (protected) animal species, thereby creating a better balance between people and nature. The Avila Foundation focuses on small-scale projects related to people, the environment, and animal welfare (People, Planet & Wildlife).
