The World Wildlife Fund strives for a world in which humans live in harmony with nature. This is in the interest of nature itself and in the interest of the people who need it.
Key habitats are protected and, where possible, restored worldwide. Special attention is paid to tropical and other forests, wetlands, and seas and oceans.

The WWF strives to address the main threats to these areas, such as deforestation, drought, overfishing, climate change, and the illegal trade in animals and plants. Responsible and sustainable use of natural resources is a high priority.
